About The Respectful Mum

Hi, I'm Zoe. I am a writer and author, with an interest in Gentle and Respectful Parenting from infancy. I am a staunch advocate for safe bedsharing education and biologically normal infant sleep and behaviours.

I live in the Yorkshire countryside with my husband, daughter and our very silly Cocker Spaniel named Pablo. I'm passionate about Respectful Parenting and have written for a number of publications, as well as offering expert commentary to the national and international press.

I love writing - whether it's for children's books, thought provoking articles or heartfelt captions for my social media posts. I won First Prize in The Green Parent Magazine's Writing Competition 2022.
